Liz Rhodes, ATC

Liz Rhodes attended Morehead State University where she played Division I soccer, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Following this program, she attained her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, began coaching youth soccer and started working with personal training clients. In 2012 she continued her education, graduating with a degree in Sports Medicine from Eastern Kentucky University. During this time, she also attained her EMT certification to broaden her skill set at a first responder and went on to spend a year as an Emergency Responder in Lexington, Kentucky.

Liz’s background as a collegiate athlete, coach and personal trainer offers a unique and comprehensive approach to Athletic Training at Benedictine University. She not only has the ability to treat acute injuries, but also continues to develop sports specific injury prevention strength training programs. Liz hopes that her previous experience as a college athlete will contribute to her ability to communicate with the students as the program grows.

When Liz is not working to heal her student athletes, she enjoys strength training, hiking and throwing frisbee with her border collie.
