Chrissy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Sport Science from Wake Forest University in 1993. She went on to graduate from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Committed to academic excellence, she graduated cum laude from both universities.
Chrissy spent the first five years of her career working at a large hospital system in St Louis, rotating through acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient services. While working in the outpatient setting, she began to develop an interest in the Hand & Upper Extremity, which led to her becoming a Certified Hand Therapist in 2001. She was fortunate to spend time working at the renowned Milliken Hand Center in St Louis, with many great clinicians and doctors.
Upon moving to Arizona in 2005, Chrissy spent some time working as a hand therapist and then transitioned to a role as the onsite physical therapist for a large company in the Valley.
As a Certified Hand Therapist, Chrissy sees all CHT-required hand and upper extremity cases referred to Orthopedic & Sport Rehab (OSR) Physical Therapy, with or without splinting needs. She welcomes cases from all over the North Valley and is available to answer questions from referring physicians and patients alike.
When she is not at work, most of Chrissy’s time is spent with her triplets, Kallie, Adam & Ryan. She is usually busy taking them to their activities, but she also enjoys running, hiking, swimming, traveling and spending time with friends.
