Productivity: Administer 12-14 treatments daily, maintaining an average of 60-64 patients per week.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assist physical therapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, exercises, and modalities as directed.

Treatment Implementation:

Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to patients, ensuring proper form and technique.
Assist with manual therapy techniques, such as stretching and joint mobilization.

Progress Monitoring:

Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, noting improvements or concerns.
Communicate observations to the supervising physical therapist.

Patient Education:

Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
Ensure patients understand and can perform exercises correctly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including progress notes and treatment documentation.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and practice policies.

Equipment and Resource Management:

Set up and maintain therapy equipment and modalities.
Assist with communicating and organizing necessary supplies.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the provider team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (new graduates welcome).
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as required.

Education:

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
