Jessica Applebee
(PT, DPT)
Jessica graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Science in 2019, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. After spending several years in Grand Rapids and Flint, she made the move to Arizona in Fall 2024, and she’s excited to explore all the beauty the state has to offer.
With a lifelong passion for athletics and movement, Jessica’s interest in physical therapy was sparked by her fascination with how the body works. She loves combining the science behind movement with the goal of helping others optimize their function and quality of life. Jessica is especially passionate about working with patients with Parkinson’s Disease and holds an LSVT BIG certification to help individuals with Parkinson’s improve their movement abilities. In the future, she aims to expand her skill set with a certification in dry needling to help patients with musculoskeletal pain. Jessica is excited to continue her learning journey and offer even more options for her patients’ recovery and well-being.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys weightlifting, a hobby she picked up after college sports, and baking healthy versions of her favorite desserts to satisfy her sweet tooth. She’s also a proud dog mom to her loyal running buddy, Malachi, an Australian Shepherd mix. Jessica and her husband married in2023 and are eager to take advantage of Arizona’s many hiking trails and restaurants in the area.
